Bertalan Farkas is a Hungarian cosmonaut, space explorer, and fighter pilot. He holds the distinction of being the first Hungarian in space, making Hungary the seventh nation to have a representative in space. Farkas is also known as the first Esperantist cosmonaut. Currently, he serves as the president of Airlines Service and Trade.
