Boniface Alexandre was a Haitian politician who served as the provisional president of Haiti following the 2004 coup d'état. Taking over after the removal of Jean-Bertrand Aristide, his role was to stabilize the country and oversee a transition to democratic elections. He served as president until May 2006, when a new president was elected.
