David Nalbandian is a retired Argentine professional tennis player who achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 3 in 2006. Known for his powerful groundstrokes and exceptional two-handed backhand, he won 11 singles titles, including the 2005 Tennis Masters Cup. Nalbandian reached the Wimbledon final in 2002 and was a member of the Argentinian Davis Cup team that reached the finals in 2006, 2008, and 2011.
