Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan long-distance runner considered one of the greatest marathon runners of all time. He specializes in the marathon and formerly competed in the 5000 metres. Kipchoge is a two-time Olympic marathon champion, having won gold at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. He held the world record in the marathon from 2018 to 2023. Kipchoge has run four of the ten fastest marathons in history.
