Hans-Hermann Hoppe is a German-American academic known for his association with Austrian School economics and anarcho-capitalism. He is also associated with right-wing libertarianism. He was a professor of economics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, from 1986 to 2008. He is a senior fellow of the Mises Institute. Hoppe is known for his controversial views on democracy and political philosophy, having founded the Property and Freedom Society in 2006.
