Íngrid Betancourt Pulecio is a Colombian-French politician, former senator, and anti-corruption activist. She is known for her outspoken stance against corruption and her advocacy for human rights. Betancourt gained international recognition after being kidnapped by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in 2002 while campaigning for the Colombian presidency as a Green candidate.
