McMahon is known for his roles as Ben Lucini in *Home and Away*, Detective John Grant in *Profiler*, Cole Turner in *Charmed*, and Dr. Christian Troy in *Nip/Tuck*. He also played Doctor Doom in the *Fantastic Four* films. For his work in Nip/Tuck he was nominated for a Golden Globe.
