Mangte Chungneijang "Mary" Kom, born on March 1, 1982, is an Indian Olympic boxer, politician, and former Member of Rajya Sabha. She is the only woman to win the World Amateur Boxing Championship six times and the only female boxer to win a medal in each of the first seven World Championships.
