Poul Holmskov Schlüter was a Danish politician who served as Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982 to 1993. He was the first member of the Conservative People's Party to hold the office, and the first conservative prime minister since 1901. Schlüter was a member of the Folketing (Danish parliament) from 1964 to 1994 and also served as Chairman of the Conservative People's Party.
