Ray Allen is an American former professional basketball player, widely regarded as one of the greatest three-point shooters in NBA history. He played 18 seasons in the NBA, earning ten All-Star selections and winning an Olympic gold medal in 2000. Allen won NBA championships with the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat. He held the record for the most three-pointers made in NBA history until surpassed by Stephen Curry in 2021. Allen was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018 and named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021.
