Robin Sharma is a Canadian writer, most notably known for his "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" series. Before becoming a writer, Sharma worked as a litigation lawyer until the age of 25. He initially self-published his first book, MegaLiving, which focused on stress management and spirituality. "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" was also initially self-published before being picked up by HarperCollins for wider distribution. Sharma has since published twelve other books and founded Sharma Leadership International, a training company.
