Sharon den Adel is a Dutch singer best known as the lead vocalist and one of the main songwriters of the symphonic metal band Within Temptation. Den Adel co-founded Within Temptation with Robert Westerholt in 1996, and together they have achieved international success, touring the world and releasing numerous acclaimed albums.
