Tirunesh Dibaba, born on June 1, 1985, is an Ethiopian long-distance runner known for her achievements in track events and international road races. She has won three Olympic track gold medals and five World Championship track gold medals. Dibaba has also secured four individual World Cross Country adult titles and one individual World Cross Country junior title. Known as the "baby-faced destroyer," she held the 5,000 metres world record until 2020.
