Udo Voigt was a German politician who served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the far-right National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD) from 2014 to 2019. He was a member of the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. Voigt served as the leader of the NPD from 1996 to 2011. Before entering politics, he was a captain in the German Air Force and held a master's degree in political science.
