Haris Silajdžić is a Bosnian politician and academic. He served as the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, he was the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1993 to 1996, during the Bosnian War. He also held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1990 to 1993. Silajdžić is recognized as Bosnia and Herzegovina's longest-serving head of government since the Yugoslav era.
