Jim Yong Kim, also known as Kim Yong, is an American physician and anthropologist. He is best known for his leadership roles in global health and development. Kim served as the 12th president of the World Bank from 2012 to 2019, where he focused on initiatives to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity.
